As for many of you know, I have my associates degree in fashion merchandising. I recently found out that the company I work for (and want to move up in) offer tuition reimbursement. Not only that, but I have been thinking about going back to school to get my bachelor’s degree. I really would like to work in the visuals/marketing department for the company I work for. Corporate is in San Francisco, and it’s where I want to live.
I just got off the phone with my dad and told him my plans. He got mad and started putting me on a guilt trip. “So you’re just gonna take that baby away from us. You can just work in some other field.” So because I had a baby, I have to find a new career so I can stay in Connecticut?
Seriously am I wrong for wanting more for my son and I? Do I just have to settle because my immediate family thinks I’m being selfish for making a better life for my son and I? Really? I really want to know, am I wrong?

I want get a new baby carrier for Donnie. One that is framed and can be used for hiking and everyday used. I want one that will last until he’s 40lbs (3yrs old). I’m looking online now and I am overwhelmed. Anyone have any suggestions?
